The person on the roof, named
A roofing company with no name attached to it is asking you to trust a phone number. This section exists to close that gap: who the roofer is, how long he has been doing this, where he trained, and whether he is the one who shows up.
Blocked, and it blocks the whole site
Four things are needed from the client before this section can be written. A fabricated origin story is worse than no About page.
- Full name of the owner. The Articles of Incorporation show the surname Marku. The given name is not legible on the copy supplied, and no name appears on the current website, the Facebook page or the Yelp listing.
- Years in the trade before 2022. The company is three years old. The roofer probably is not. This is the strongest claim available and it is currently unused.
- Where he trained and worked before.
- A photograph of him. On a roof, on a job. Not a stock portrait.

Scope
What we do, and what we turn down
The insurance certificate defines the scope of insured operations. Work outside it does not get taken on, and we would rather say that up front than take the job.
We do
Asphalt shingle repair and replacement, SBS modified bitumen low-slope roofing, EPDM, TPO and PVC single-ply repair, metal roof repair, concrete and clay tile repair, leak diagnosis, attic ventilation and insulation correction, eavestrough repair, roof inspection, and emergency containment.
We do not
Hot tar or built-up kettle roofing. Our insured scope of operations excludes it, and we would rather tell you that than take the work.
Crew and scope
Pending client inputcrew size, whether work is subcontracted, and whether the owner attends every job. Left blank deliberately rather than drafted: every one of these is a checkable claim about how the business actually operates, and getting it wrong on the site is worse than leaving it out.
Warranty
Draft A workmanship warranty covers the installation. It is a separate document from the manufacturer warranty, which covers the shingle, and the two fail in different ways. Nearly every leak that shows up in the first ten years of a roof's life is an installation problem, not a material one, so the workmanship term is the one worth reading. The Calgary market norm is 5 to 10 years in writing.
